The DS steam barrier is a valve accessory which enables enhanced bellow monitoring and therefore increases product safety. The increased valve housing with two integrated connection ports allows the admission of the internal area behind the welded stainless steel bellow with steam or other sterile media.

Temperature probes give continuous feedback to the PLC and recognize a bellow damage within a short time. The system is primarily designed for equipping new installations.
